If the GhostWing GW-1 isn’t the right drone for you, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for any reason. Your refund goes back to the original payment method.

1. Eligibility
To qualify for a refund, your return must be:
- Postmarked within 30 calendar days of the delivery date shown by the carrier
- In flyable condition, with no crash damage, water damage, or modification
- Returned with all original accessories — the battery, controller, charger, spare propellers, screwdriver, carry case, and documentation
- Packaged for safe transit (the original box is preferred but not required)
Light use is fine. We expect customers to actually try the drone. Units that show signs of a crash, water exposure, or have parts missing may receive a partial refund.
2. How to start a return
Email support@ghostwingofficial.com with your order number and a short note about why you’re returning the drone. Our team replies within one business day with return instructions and a return address. You do not need to call ahead — email is the fastest channel.
3. Return shipping
3.1 Defective or damaged units
If your GhostWing GW-1 arrived damaged or stops working out of the box, we cover return shipping. We’ll email you a prepaid US return label so the return costs you nothing.
3.2 Change-of-mind returns
For change-of-mind returns (the drone works as described, but you no longer want it) the customer is responsible for return shipping. You can use the carrier of your choice; we recommend a tracked service so the return can be verified. Original outbound shipping is not refundable for change-of-mind returns — US shipping is currently free, so this typically does not affect your refund amount.
4. Refund timing
Once we receive and inspect your return at our fulfillment center, we issue your refund within 5–10 business days. Most banks and card networks then post the refund within a few additional business days. The refund is always issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
5. Order cancellations
Orders can be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the carrier scans the package. After that, please follow the return process above.
6. What is not refundable
- Units returned more than 30 days after delivery (these may still be covered by the warranty)
- Crash damage — bent or broken propellers, cracked airframes, motor damage from impact, snapped landing gear
- Water damage — the GW-1 is not waterproof and is not designed for flight in rain or over open water
- Units returned with damage from unauthorized disassembly, modification, or use outside the published operating range
- Lithium-polymer batteries that are swollen, punctured, or otherwise compromised
- Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns
7. After the return window
Defective units identified after the 30-day return window are covered by the 1-year limited warranty. The claim process is similar — email support with your order number and a short description of the issue. Crash damage is not covered by the warranty either.
8. Lithium battery shipping
Lithium batteries are classified as hazardous material for shipping. The carrier may require additional documentation on a return. If your return label is prepaid by us, the shipping instructions and any required forms are included in the email. For change-of-mind returns shipped at your own expense, please follow your carrier’s instructions for ground shipment of small lithium batteries — most carriers accept them without issue when properly packaged.
